Guraindo is a platform designed to help users find and connect with skilled artisans and service providers. Through our platform, users may search for professionals such as plumbers, electricians, cleaners, AC technicians, pest control professionals, painters, carpenters, mechanics, generator repair technicians, beauty professionals, and other skilled workers. Guraindo acts as a technology platform that facilitates connections between customers and independent service providers. Unless otherwise stated, Guraindo does not employ the artisans or service providers listed on the platform.

We may collect different types of information depending on how you use Guraindo:
A. Information You Provide to Us
When registering for an account, we collect information such as your full name, email address, phone number, username, password, profile photograph, and location (city, state, country). For service providers and artisans, we may also collect business names, professional skills, service categories, work experience, portfolio images, service area coverage, availability, and verification details.
B. Location Information
We may collect or use location-related information to help users find service providers within a particular area. You may choose to limit location permissions through your device settings, though some location-based features may be limited as a result.
C. Usage & Communications
We automatically collect technical interaction logs (device type, OS, IP address, search activity, date/time of access) as well as information submitted when contacting us via email, WhatsApp, or customer support to assist you and improve our services.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Create and manage your account and process service requests.
- Display relevant service providers based on location or service category.
- Send booking notifications, account updates, and support communications.
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or unauthorized activity on the Platform.
- Analyze platform usage to improve performance, security, and user experience.

4. Information Visible to Other Users
When an artisan creates a public profile, customers can view their name, profile photograph, skills, service category, location, ratings, reviews, work portfolio, and service description. When customers request services, necessary contact and job details are shared with the selected provider to facilitate service delivery.
5. Service Providers Are Independent Professionals
Artisans and service providers using Guraindo are independent individuals or businesses and are not employees or agents of Guraindo. Customers and service providers are solely responsible for agreements, negotiations, pricing, and service arrangements made between themselves.
6. Payments and Financial Information
Where payment features or platform credits are purchased through third-party payment processors, your payment details are processed directly by those providers. Guraindo does not intentionally store sensitive debit/credit card numbers, CVV codes, or PINs.
9. Data Security & Retention
We deploy technical measures including secure servers, password protection, access controls, and encryption to protect your data. We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide services, meet legal obligations, prevent fraud, and resolve disputes.
10. Your Rights & Account Deletion
You have the right to access, correct, update, or request the deletion of your personal information. Users may request account deletion at any time. Subject to records we are legally required to retain for auditing or fraud prevention, your data will be permanently removed or anonymized.
